Mr. Travis Woodruff has been hired as Shipshape IT’s Director of Support Services

Shipshape IT is pleased to announce that Mr. Travis Woodruff has joined Shipshape IT’s management team. Mr. Woodruff comes to Shipshape IT after a four year tenure at the DC Department of Behavioral Health (DC DBH). In his role as Chief Information Officer, Mr. Woodruff, evaluated, administered and implemented Credible Behavioral Health’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System. Mr. Woodruff oversaw this EMR migration project on an agency-wide basis, while concurrently handling the executive functions of the organization’s information technology infrastructure and logistics. This included thirty-five direct reports within the IT Department of the DC DBH, and a user base of 2500 staff throughout the agency.

Prior to serving in the DC Department of Behavioral Health, Mr. Woodruff served as the Director of Technical Services for Dataprise Inc, out of Rockville, Maryland. At Dataprise, Mr. Woodruff had management responsibilities for client satisfaction and IT operations for over 800 commercial and non-profit clients; as well as sixty-five technical line and supervisory staff. Mr. Woodruff's role as Director of Support Services for Shipshape IT will be managing and supervising Help Desk Operations; including staff responsible for delivering recurrent on-site, and remote end-user support.
